Can help the ACS
- Create America’s Camellia Trail of noteworthy camellia gardens across the nation open both for public visitation and some for visitation only by ACS members with advance arrangements.
- Develop a Camellia Mentoring Program across the country to give some on-the-spot camellia growing and showing advice to those seeking help with their camellias.
- Launch a state-of-the-art camellia website to serve both the membership and the general public with a focus on gaining members for the ACS and giving all our members resources chocked full of camellia information. Some sections will be open to the public and others will be for members only. One aim is for this to be the most comprehensive listing of camellia varieties ever put together.
- Another aim is to supply (with local clubparticipation) nearly up-to-the-minute camellia show results from across the country along with pictures.
- Produce videos and DVDs on all aspects of camellia growing and showing. Some could feature regional camellia gurus sharing their expertise, some would be short for ACS web use, and some would be longer, designed for use as camellia society presentations to aid local clubs in their educational programming.
- Assist local societies with membership growth by offering informative club camellia rograms, club website space with the ACS, show and membership marketing programs, show publicity kits, and more.
- Offer a broader, more interesting, and more informative array of educational programs for our members and the camellia growing public at national and regional camellia meetings across the country, all designed to generate greater interest in growing camellias. Your participation is vital — dues alone will not permit us to do any of this. Your contribution is fully tax deductible.>
