Other Requirements

To be eligible for registration, the bloom must be appraised by two ACS accredited judges.

The below two judges have examined the blooms and attest that this cultivar is sufficiently different from introduced varieties and worthy of registration.

COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS: It is mandatory that you include at least four digital color photographs with your application. Please make certain that two different views of your flower are presented: (1) Looking into the face (top) of the bloom, (2) face of bloom with a measuring devise, such as a ruler or coin, (3) a side view showing the bloom height, and (4) a photograph showing the overall growth habit of the plant must be presented. It is requested that you take the photographs in "Landscape" format (an aspect ratio of 3:4 is best). The four or more pictures must be electronic pictures which you can attach below.

IMPORTANT: You have a TOTAL maximum of 2 Megabytes for your photographs. Normally you should send pictures which are each about 100 Kilobytes in size. If necessary, you can easily decrease the size of your pictures in "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" or other software.

By submitting your pictures through this website you hereby agree and acknowledge that you are releasing any right, title and interest you may have in said pictures and you further agree that upon submission, the pictures shall become the sole property of the American Camellia Society ("ACS") and the ACS may use the pictures in its sole and absolute discretion in, among other things, ACS publications, fliers and this website.
